User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 This feature would/should/could increase the flow of surfing: Whenever you open a link in a new/child tab and close the new/child tab, Firefox should return to the parent tab. Instead Firefox returns to the neighbor tab. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open one Firefox window. 2. Open more than one tab. 3. Load www.mozilla.org in the leftmost tab. 4. Click a link to open the link in a new/child tab. 5. Close the new/child tab. Actual Results: After closing the new/child tab, Firefox doesn't return to the leftmost www.mozilla.org tab, but to the tab that is next to the new/child tab. Expected Results: Firefox should return to the leftmost www.mozilla.org tab. Please make it optional. What about calling it "Return to parent tab when closing child tab"?
