Source of the javascript that I believe opens the window.
Dupe of Bug 187255?

A popup on this page: http://members.fortunecity.com/legalstuff/lont_spammer.html also seems to get past the fact I have selected NO to unrequested popups. This doesn't happen often (I've only seen one other site that managed to sneak a popup in), but I'm worried that people will learn these tricks, and we'll be bombarded with ads again.
This is at least very similar to bug 176079 Here's an example with Flash that pops up mozilla.org after 10 seconds: http://rdmsoft.com/bugs/mozflashpopup.html The browser can't really tell whether the user wanted Flash (or other Plugin) to do this or not, so it would probably be better to require a whitelist entry before letting these popups appear.
A popup has started sneaking through on visiting www.pgatour.com and selecting "Leaderboard" or "Tournament Update". The new window is titled "SpecificPOP Network - Mozilla) and Element Properties reports the address http://adopt.specificclick.net/click.sm?adv=2+href=http://clk.atdmt.com/goiframe/1544345/dvrtoepd02301920ave/direct;wi.720;hi.300/01. This occurs with Mozilla 1.7 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040620) on Linux (Fedora Core 2, kernel 2.6.6-1.435.2.3smp) with latest updates.
Here's a good example; http://cbs.sportsline.com/olympics/story/7579194 Disable your cookies for this site (put in within the black list) and you'll get the pop-up every time you visit the page. The browser should be blocking this.
adoutput.com provides a script that gets through the blocker in 0.8
Alright, damnit. This is not the bug for reporting whatever problem with popup windows you've noticed. It's a very specific bug about a very specific script on a very specific site. Every one of the last five comments belongs in bug 253831, not this one. I appreciate y'all's vigilance, but you're just confusing what could have been a very clear bug.
