Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316

The usual behaviour when clicking on a "link" object whilst holding down the
Ctrl+Shift modifier shuld be to open the target link in a new background tab.
However, this is not the case when clicking on the Mozilla icon (at the
top-right of the browser) - it opens the Mozilla project homepage in the
currently-focussed tab regardless.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hold down ctrl+shift
2. Click Mozilla icon
3.

Actual Results:
Moz homepage opens in currently-focussed tab

Expected Results:
Opened Moz homepage in a new background tab

Theme in use is Orbit 3.1+1.5 MiK, however same behaviour is observed in default
(Modern) theme
Summary: Ctrl+Shift whilst clicking on Mozilla icon in browser chrome opens in existing tab, and not a new one → Ctrl+Shift whilst clicking on throbber should open new tab
Dupe of bug 93034 (Ctrl-Click and Middle-Click should trigger the same action).
