Either the message changes should be reflected in the current view (and be hidden on change) or the view should go back to "all" after a message is received or changed. Selecting the view again will not be applied. The user needs to select a different view and go back to the current view before it is applied. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

When in Unread view and reading messages (thus marking them as read), it'd be very inconvenient if they just vanish from the threadpane. Especially since bug 199467 is now fixed, this here is clearly WONTFIX.
