Details
Build: 2004-03-16-16 (1.7b) Background: I had a problem with XP's time zones, and had to tell it to automatically adjust my clock for Daylight Savings. I also leave Mozilla running all the time. I've had it up over a month without problems (Mozilla is becoming quite solid!). Observed behavior: After adjusting my time zone, all incoming messages (and possibly outgoing as well) were displayed an hour off (as if I was still using the old zone). Since I don't close and reopen Mozilla, it was incorrect for several days. Once I closed and restarted Mozilla, everything was fine, and all the old messages displayed their proper time stamp. Expected behavior: Immediately update the internal time stamp display rules. It's probably safe to wait until another action has been performed (such as receiving a new message, clicking, scrolling, etc.) before having to update the display -- I'm sure Windows does not fire an event for a time zone change. :)
