User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421 If all the files and folder inside the folder C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Application Data\Mozilla\profiles\ are corrupted and Mozilla is restarted it starts with a “Manage User Profiles” dialog box which allows deletion of all the profiles. Moreover when we keep pressing Delete profile without choosing any profile we come to a point where the software also deletes the title of the list that says “Available Profiles” Try adding a profile to the list and the title of the list does not re-appear. The profiles are added to a title-less list Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Pre-condetions : Profiles in the C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Application Data\Mozilla\profiles\ directory are courrupted 1. Start Mozilla >> User profiles dialog box is displayed 2. Press Manage profiles and then press delete profile again and again until all the profiles are gone 3. Press Delete profile again >>This will also delete the title of the list box that says "Available Profiles" 4. Add a profile >> This will add a profile to the list but the title of the list will not re-appear. Actual Results: The title of the list box was lost and was not recoverable even after adding profiles. Expected Results: The list box should not lose the title.

When I was testing I tried 1. putting some junk data in those files 2. completely deleting all files and directories under the directory C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Application Data\Mozilla\profiles\ Both cases have the same results.
Actually you don't need to "corrupt" your profiles in any way to reproduce this bug. Just Delete all Profiles by keep pressing the "Remove Profile..." button. This is a dupe of bug 182642. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 182642 ***
