User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040424 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040424 I wrote a full-page plugin to deal with a modification to HTML. When I launch Mozilla and go to such a modified page, the browser produces the "Mozilla does not know how to handle this file type" dialog and does not call any of the plugin methods. The browser notices the plugin, however, when I load about:plugins or a page which embeds this type, and after that it knows how to handle the full-page version. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load Mozilla, with my plugin in ~/.mozilla/plugins. 2. Go to a page of the appropriate MIME type. 3. Load about:plugins. 4. Return to the page in step 2. Actual Results: After step 2, I got the dialog mentioned above; after step 4, however, the plugin was called as expected. Expected Results: The plugin should have been called immediately after step 2.
