24202 - Importing bookmarks from other browsers

Hi,

When I installed mozilla it copied all my bookmarks from IE 5.0
instead of Communicator 4.71(which really came from a much older version
of IE).  Would be nice if it would have grabbed the Communicator ones or given
the option to choose which one.

looks like what you are experiencing is actually bug 24220 (which may itself be a dupe).
Mozilla imports BOTH your 4.x bookmarks and your IE favorites folder. Bug 24220 deals
with the fact that importing the Communicator bookmarks stopped working. I believe that
would account for the symptoms you've seen.
