Linux CVS, Gtk2, 1.8a Gecko/20040504 -Go to http://www.pcworld.no and try to wheel-scroll down Result: You can't -Click in the page and try to scroll: Still can't. It's impossible to set focus on the page. I can't use ctrl+F to trigger find or Ctrl+T to open a tab either. -Now drag the scrollbar slider some down and try to weelscroll again: Result: Now it all works. -Then Wheelscroll to the top again and try to scroll DOWN again: Result: Scrolling fails once again. Bug can also be observed at http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2004/04/30/1083224572418.html Very recent regression - saw this first time yesterday.
err.. it does activate scrollcode, but on the upper frame or div, and moving mouse over main page and clicking has no effect - impossible to change focus with mouse
Summary: wheel-scrolling partly broken → wheel-scrolling partly broken - can't focus some pages via mouse

whatever causes it was checked in LATER than 2004-05-03 14:32
And BEFORE 2004-05-03 22:37
242111
http://www.finn.no/finn/car/carselection?pdc=1083754881433 click a select dropdown, click once in page, resize fonts to 150% Result: dropdowns open and when scrolling page they are "frozen" on page while page scrolls in background

Depends on: 242790

while i'm talking to myself... it also broke wheel-scrolling over iframes
patch 147808 in bug 242790 fixes all this except the weirdness in comment 7, which may be another bug entirely - unrelated to the checkin for bug 242111
another thing that surfaced in the same build was dropdown selects at this site being filled with a little "garbage" square. It used to be all white. http://www.finn.no/finn/car/carselection?pdc=1084074645786
No longer blocks: 242799
apart from comment 7 all this is now fixed in other bugs. This bug is a mess :) Over and out.
