Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040508 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040511 Firefox/0.8.0+ I was trying to install the Noia eXtreme 2.0 theme using the theme installation method on the Firefox themes page. That page was taking a VERY long time to load due to waiting for some images so I browsed another site in a new tab. At some point, I did something (not sure what) that generated a segmentation fault. I was trying to track down another segmentation fault I encountered previously SO I ran Firefox under gdb when this segmentation fault occured. Here is the backtrace: Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. Actual Results: Segmentation fault occurs and Firefox crashes. Expected Results: Firefox should not crash. I'm using the GTK2+XFT nightly build on Slackware 8 Linux with glib/gtk2 2.4.1 and the 2.6.5 kernel and glibc-2.3.2.
I'm moving to Theme/Extension Manager. Does this still happen in 0.9.1?
Component: General → Extension/Theme Manager
I haven't had any problems installing a variety of themes using Firefox 0.9.1 so this bug report can be closed. :) Peace...
