It would be helpful if there was a feature in one of the drop down menus that
allowed the user to consolidate all open tabs in any number of windows into one
window with mulitple tabs.  This would reduce clutter when a user ends up with
several windows each with just one or two tabs.

This, bug is similar not duplicate.

At least mark this bug as depending on bug 102132. Anyway, this request would
most likely be implemented as an extension. Maybe multizilla already has it.

This isn't a dup. That bug is for the seamonkey suite, this is the firefox
version of that bug.

Please undupe!  This bug should be dependant on
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102132 not duplicated to it.  This
bug requests a specific feature, a 'Consolidate Windows' feature.  I can
understand why it would be dependant on the 'Ability to move content areas from
tabs into windows'

This is a valid enhancement request, and depends on bug 102132.

Bug 102132 is a bug for Seamonkey. The ability to detach tabs already exists in Firefox. This bug doesn't have any dependencies, it can already be fixed using swapDocShell. With that being said, the use case here is pretty rare, and it would be better to not provide affordances that encourage too many windows/tabs.
