Helper Applications preference dialog only allows OS 9
applications to be selected. ALL OS X applications are
greyed out and cannot be selected.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select qoenload preference for type .ra
2. Click on Change Actions
3. Navigate to RealOne Player
4. The player is greyed out and cannot be selected.

Expected Results:
The Download Preference dialog should allow ANY OS X or OS 9
application to be selected.
Firefox has forked all the relevant UI.

Douglas, can you also reproduce this using Mozilla?
Perhaps the summary for this should be changed--this applies to all OS X
applications, not just RealOne.
umm... this really sounds like a dup of bug 225574...

Mozilla 1.7b has no problem selecting an OS X application
as a helper application. Mozilla uses a completely different
set of dialogs to select helpers.
sorry for bugspam, long-overdue mass reassign of ancient QA contact bugs,
filter on "beltznerLovesGoats" to get rid of this mass change
