In the demonstration URL (http://texturizer.net/firefox/themes/) , after pushing
the stop button the images continue to load

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://texturizer.net/firefox/themes/
2. Click Stop Button

Actual Results:  
Images continued to load after stop button was pushed. Stop button is greyed out
and the status bar indicates that the page has stopped loading.

Expected Results:  
The images on the page should should stop loading

Although it's always reproducable on this url and a few others, sevral other
pages  do appear to stop loading immages correctly when the stop button is pushed

With Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7)
Gecko/20040530 Firefox/0.8.0+, only the images that are in progress beeing
downloaded are continued, all others stay blank.

Reporter: please provide more information, so that this bug can be confirmed.

After pushing the stop button immediately after a refresh or new page visit all
of the images will still continue to load except the broken ones (where the host
site could not be contacted)

The statusbar indicates first that the page has stopped, than that the browser
is still resolving, connecting and transferring to/from the various sites.

possibly related to Bug 188955?
Bug 188955's test url (http://www.questml.com/syntax/) also continues to load
all images after the stop button is pushed.

Well, lets see what the next AVIARY-builds will be like and if the bug still
exists. A fix for bug 188955 has been checked in.
reporter, please test a latest-0.9 build younger than 2004-05-31-17 PDT (better
2004-06-01) and report back.
I will test on Mac also.

Nevertheless, I think it might be a different issue, though. Confirming for now
and selecting All/All.

Just an update, this bug is still around in 0.9
this may actually be Product: Browser, but i haven't tested it myself

bug 268985 is newer but they're working on patches over there.
