While typing an accentuated word in the google's toolbar engine, the character
which contains the accent is replaced by a question mark in the google homepage

exemple :
words typed in google's toolbar search engine : "accent : יטך and אג & ש�פן!"
words displayed in google homepage : "accent : ??? and ?? & ????!"

And all accentuated words aren't use by google search engine, so google toolbar
doesn't work.

only pages with the words "accent" will be displayed...
For french people, this toolbar is not interesting

Does this happen with the Google.fr one?

Directions to download it:

Go to: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html then go to "General" and scroll
down to Google-France and click on it.

Try that engine.

install google france
type the word "mère" in the searchbar and enter
Google F pops up with a load of rubbish

now type "mère" in the input of the googlepage
results as expected

the searchbar doesn't pass on the right characters 

may be BROWSER ?
duplicate of bug 62409 ?

This was originally fixed in bug 145375 and subsequently google.src has been replaced by OpenSearch version - eg:
http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/browser/locales/en-US/searchplugins/google.xml

As far as I am aware, all (inc l10n) of the shipped Google plugins have had this issue fixed.
