In the current version of the Palm address book sync it is not
possible to exclude an address book or individual address entries 
from being synced with my Palm.
My local address book contains more address entries than my Palm
because I don't want to carry all of them with me. Therefore it
would be a good idea to be able to include/exclude address books
from being synced.

Bug 227507 didn't provide what you need?
