Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 Firefox/0.8 I installed the Latest version of firefox only to find that it replaced all of my bookmarks w/ my old IE bookmarks. I have not been able to locate where the bookmarks that I added to firefox 0.8 have gone, most likely they've been deleted by an overwrite in the installation. :( Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Import bookmarks from IE into firefox 0.8 2.Add more bookmarks to the list 3.Install version 0.9 over 0.8 and then watch all of your hard work at finding those wonderful links disapear, and be replaced by your old IE bookmarks. Actual Results: I cried. Expected Results: Should have an option to import from IE or not, or to be able to use the previous version of firefox's bookmarks along with imported bookmarks from another browers such as IE.
If you go back to 0.8 your bookmarks should reappear, they are still there they just didn't get copied over to 0.9rc, when the real 0.9 comes out this should be fixed. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 246018 ***
