On startup(I'm using IMAP), mail seems to take the time to download all of the
attachments. I frequently receive some large ones and this is a problem. When I
go to the message, it seems to download them again. I've searched all of the
menues, googled the web, etc. for a solution. How can I initially only download
the immediate message and then only the attachment if I want it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start mail
2. Wait a looooong time if any of the new messages have large attachments
3.

Actual Results:  
Everything works, you just waste time.

Expected Results:  
Downloaded the text of the email. Then downloaded the attachment IF I want to
read it.
