246663 - rc.9 install ignores old firefox .8 toolbar links/ imports IE toolbar!

running .8 firefox for some time
lots of links in the toolbar from .8
on install of .9
all of my firefox links are gone 
.9 installed IE toolbar links!

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1.current install .8
2.install rc.9
3.links from .8 gone
4.replaced with links from IE6



Expected Results:  
.9 should search for .8 links first and load those!

all password files are also gone! This is becoming a major bummer... living life
on the edge eh? ;)

Only Firefox Peers can set the +/- blocking flags unless you've been told to set
+ which in case you should comment that in the bug.. Changing to Blocking0.9?

Also, are you sure you're even using the 0.8 profile? It's possible that 0.9RC
imported IE settings into a new profile and just ignored your existing 0.8 profile.

There was a bug in 0.9rc (Bug 246018) where it didn't properly import your
settings, however if you go back to 0.8 they should still be there, you can then
load up 0.9 final and hopefully they will be correctly imported this time.

sorry for bugspam, long-overdue mass reassign of ancient QA contact bugs, filter on "beltznerLovesGoats" to get rid of this mass change
