I've read the useful URL http://www.mozillazine.org/misc/about:config/ on how to modify/create preferences and have now added the integer preference 'ui.useAccessibilityTheme' with a value of 0. This now resolves the problems I had with using Mozilla Build ID 2004061507 on my Win98 machine. From my point of view, you can close this bug. Thanks for your help.
