WFM just fine, I was even able to view certificates, close all the options
windows and continue browsing.

Reporter, did you do a *clean* install and make a new profile?

Yes, the install was done clean. The 0.8 install was moved out of the way, and
the 0.9 install put into a new directory.

Was this an installer or non-installer build? Also, can you try a new profile
(go to a command line "/path/to/firefox -ProfileManager" and make a new one) and
see if you still have the problem?

I just ran the profile manager, and created a new profile called "blah". Exact
same result. The browser froze, and becomes unusable. I then killed off the
firefox-bin process, and re-ran the profile manager to delete "blah". The
following seg fault was thrown:
# ./firefox -ProfileManager
./run-mozilla.sh: line 451: 18951 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

This was an installer build. The brower was automaticaly ran as the root user
after the installer completed.
The tar build did not work at all on two different systems used for testing. ie.
The file was un-tar'd, and "./firefox" was run in the directory. Nothing
happens. No errors, no activity, nothing. Systems are Fedora Core 1.

I'm seeing this as well on two different RH9 boxes, both clean firefox 0.9
installs (but both with RH's Moz 1.4 RPMs installed previously). Click on
"Manage Certificates" and the browser instantly freezes.

I see this bug also, both with a clean profile and one imported from Mozilla 1.6.
I'm using Fedora Core 1.

Hmmm, great. I sincerely hope that 1.0 has plenty of "rc" releases so that stuff
like this doesn't land on the final release... Regressions so close to 1.0 are
giving me the creeps.
