User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040528 Galeon/1.3.15 (Debian package 1.3.15-2) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040528 Galeon/1.3.15 (Debian package 1.3.15-2) Trying to print this page crashes Mozilla. Printing in general works fine, including similar pages from the same site. This site is a "yellow pages" site, crashing page is a result page and I printed other result pages successfully. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to said URL 2. Print Actual Results: Segfault Expected Results: Print the web page and continue working after.

This is the page whose printing crashes Mozilla as I get it now, in case it changes in future.

do you also crash with 1.7RC3 ? Can you post Talkback ID for this crash "mozilla/components/talkback/talkback" to find out the Talkback Incident ID associated to your crash.
Keywords: stackwanted
I do not have a file/directory named "talkback" on my computer. Today's nightly build doesn't crash on printing that page, but uses different fonts, which might be the reason.
the nightly build uses different fonts because it doesn't use XFT. I tested CVS/trunk XFT and a 1.6 non-XFT build and both printed ok (the output was badly formatted, but it didn't crash). At this point, the crash could be galeon's fault, debian's fault, or a 64bit problem (the nightly you tried was an i686 package). In general, you should report problems in debian builds to debian and not Mozilla, unless you can also reproduce the problem with a non-debian build.

> At this point, the crash could be galeon's fault, Nope, I always try with Mozilla before going trhoug bugzilla.mozilla.org > debian's fault, Possibly, will contact the Debian maintainer. > or a 64bit problem Nope, I'm running a 32 bit userspace.
Hardware: Other → PC
Does not happen any more with Debian package of 1.7.2.

Nothing identified as the bug/patch that might have fixed this, may not have been Mozilla code at all. ->WORKSFORME
