User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040615 Firefox/0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040615 Firefox/0.9 Occasionally when viewing the front page, or comment pages of slashdot.org I see various types of misrendering of the page - with objects rendered over other objects. The problem is intermittent, often reloading the exact same page will cause it to be rendered properly. I will attach two screenshots demonstrating the two main types of misrendering that I see. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit http://slashdot.org/ or any of its comment pages Actual Results: Occasionally the page was rendered incorrectly. Reloading generally fixes the problem. Expected Results: Rendered the page correctly.
That bug is fixed on the trunk, but not yet fixed on the branches (because the fix caused a regression: bug 246382), so it still happens in Mozilla 1.7 and Firefox 0.9. builds. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 217527 ***
