In firefox 0.8 the bookmarks toolbar showed the favicon next to the name, i 
thought that was pretty niffty. Now in 0.9, it just leaves the boring picture 
of a piece of paper.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add webpage with a favicon to bookmarks folder
2. click button on toolbar
3.

Actual Results:  
nothing, the icon doesn't change

Expected Results:  
changed the icon in the bookmarks toolbar.

I think all these boxes are a bit repetative, but I am only reporting a 
cosmetic thing.

WFM.

You might want to check 'browser.chrome.favicons' and
'browser.chrome.site_icons' in about:config and make sure they are set to true.

i have the same problem
it only remembers them when i first bookmark them
after that it doesn't remember

i checked my about:config for "browser.chrome.site_icons" it's set to true

Most of the favicon issues have been ironed out by now, the latest nightly
builds have (nearly) fully functional favicon support.

Suggesting this bug be marked as a duplicate of bug #174265.
