When I try to print on my Laserjet 1000 the page at:
http://www.janda.org/c24/Readings/Duverger/Duverger.htm
the first sheet is lost, and it starts printing only some of the text from the
second page on the first sheet, loses some more text before printing some
additional text.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to the URL http://www.janda.org/c24/Readings/Duverger/Duverger.htm
2.Select print preview (the preview display is faulty)
3.Print the page (the printout is faulty)

Actual Results:  
Significant amount of text is lost in print preview and the printout.
There does not appear any way to work around the problem. The print preview and
print functions are broken.

Expected Results:  
Print the text as it appears on the web page

Confirming.  I see the behavior described using 2004-06-21-09 on Windows XP
using Print Preview.

I have also experienced problems with printing form firefox with my default printer set as a LaserJet 4P

The print and print preview facilities display / print only part of the page.  Change the default printer to an HP Deskjet or Epson inkjet and it works fine.  I assume it is a problem with formatting for HP PCL printers (LaserJet 4P uses PCL 5)

Help please!

I printed out the 12 pages of my NJ state tax using mozilla firefox last year. Now I have noticed that only the 4th page is blanked out, the most important page of all, the info needed to file this year's taxes. This is listed as a common problem on the NJ state tax FAQ. That's how I realised this.

I want to find out if I can recover the information in that page.

Any great ideas to convert that blank page to retrieve the lost info?

http://www.janda.org/c24/Readings/Duverger/Duverger.htm worksForMe, but http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832925/en-us?spid=2520&sid=1379 does not: when printing or viewing print preview with portrait: it only starts at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook For Outlook 2003". With landscape it only starts at "6. Expand 11.0 for Outlook 2003 and 12.0 for Outlook 2007, and then expand Outlook.". Same result on 2 different printers.

OS: Windows XP 5.1.2600 SP3. (don't look at me like that, I only use Microsoft stuff at work)
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0

Prints fine from Safari 3.12, and IE 7.0.5730.13.

It now works for me as well in FireFox 3.6.3 for 
http://www.janda.org/c24/Readings/Duverger/Duverger.htm .
So it can be closed as RESOLVED after almost 8 years.
