With smooth scrolling enabled and a fixed div at bottom (example in
attachement), there are refresh problems, content is often trashed.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Scroll quickly up and down with mousewhell, arrows or PgUp/PgDown.
Actual Results:
Content is trashed.
dup of bug 201307?
Not really, this bug is more about painting problems than slowness.

However, if you put width:100% instead of width:90% for the fixed div in the
attachment, you'll see slowness and the div above the scrollbar...
Unable to reproduce with a current trunk CVS build.
Perhaps this is already fixed? Can you please try a newer build.
I did more tests.

I was able to reproduce this bug with Firefox 0.9 on Linux.

No problems with Firefox 0.8 on Windows.

No problems with a Mozilla nightly build on Linux, but without Xft, I don't know
if that matters...
then current Mozilla builds both with and without Xft are OK.
Bug still there with Firefox 0.10.1 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3)
Gecko/20041026 Firefox/0.10.1 (Debian package 0.10.1+1.0PR-4)).
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
Bug still reproducible with the example page and Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux
i686; fr; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.5 (Debian package 1.0.5-1).

Unable to reproduce in:
