User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1
In Windows XP SP2 RC2 under a system with hardware DEP support, a Mozilla
product will usually start properly the first time after it is installed. After
exiting the product, it will not start properly again and will crash with an
error about memory not being able to be read. The memory address is given.
The issue seems to be resolved by disabling the hardware DEP support in Windows
XP SP2 RC2. More information on the fix is in my blog: http://chmod666.typepad.org/
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Firefox 0.9 or Mozilla 1.7 under XP SP2 RC2 on a system with hardware
DEP support.
2. Run the product for the first time.
3. Exit the product.
4. Wait a few seconds, then try to restart the product. It will not start
properly and will crash with an error about memory not being able to be read.
Actual Results:
The product crashes and displays an error about memory not being able to be
read. The memory address is included.
Expected Results:
Started. :p

It would seem I mistyped my blog's URL. Oops.
The correct URL is http://chmod666.typepad.com/, not .org.
