First concern is the bug summary:
I can't remove a filter from the filter list.

At times I end up with my filter added multiple times, and it looks really
really bad.

Second concern (I can split these things into additional bugs if people really
care):
There is no way to map from a filter you appened w/ (void) appendFilter to the
value of filterIndex.

Third concern (...):
There's no way to get the current list of filters.
