User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Middle clicking bookmarks to open them in a new tab always loads that tab in the foreground, even if the "Select new tabs opened from links" is unchecked. This happens when choosing a bookmark from the menu, the bookmark toolbar, or the sidebar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure "Select new tabs opened from links" is unchecked. 2. Middle click a bookmark. 3. Actual Results: The resulting tab is opened in the foreground Expected Results: The "Select new tabs opened from links" setting should be respected.

Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
A bookmark is not a link. There's a hidden pref to change the default behaviour called browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground, which if set to true opens these links in the background. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 175629 ***
