Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.8

If Firefox on my Windows machine (though I believe I have met the same behaviour
on Camina on MacOS X) closes not of it's own (i.e. Windows crashes, the browser
itself crashes, or (!!) if the user logs off, while Firefox is still running),
any favicon.ico that denotes a bookmark in the Bookmarks Toolbar is lost.
Clicking on them will restore them.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Drag the favicon.ico file of the pagfe you are visiting (that you see
displayed at the left side of its address in the address bar) to the Bookmark
Toolbar
2. DON't close Firefox
3. Log off
4. Log on again

Actual Results:
Every favicon.ico in the Bookmark Bar had been replaced by the default 'blank
page' icon, that favicon-less pages get

Expected Results:
Display the icons correctly.

I don't quite see how they are lost, because they obviously stored on my
computer somewhere. I mean, they are displayed even if I haven't visited these
pages for ages, so I can only guess that they are not in a cache somewhere.
