User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 When I open a .html file on my desktop and view the page source it will not allow me to edit the source. Also when I copy and paste the source to notebook and do the alterations there it will then not allow me to paste the newly altered source directly back onto the page. I have to do the alterations in notepad then do "save as" and replace the old file. It is not really a problem but it would be better if it could be done directly in the view source mode. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. put a .html file on your desktop 2. open the file and click on "view page source" 3. then try to make any alterations to the source, it will not even let you delete anything. Actual Results: nothing the page remained as it was. Expected Results: I often alter the files in my IE. browser for ease of use, I was hoping I could do the same with Firefox. I hoped it would allow me to alter the source directly in the view source mode. the theme I am using is "Nautipolis for Firefox 0.9"
