User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 (ax) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 (ax) Just saw this at MozillaZine forums today. Apparently, someone somehow typed http://http:// and it redirected to http://www.microsoft.com ; I was able to reproduce this on Windows XP and 98. It also happens when one puts in a web address. I was not able to reproduce this in Mozilla 1.7. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type http://http://foo.com into the Location Bar. Actual Results: Above redirected to http://www.microsoft.com/ Expected Results: An error message saying "http could not be found." (This is what happened when I tried to reproduce it in Mozilla 1.7.)
