Unnecessary documentation about /usr/bonsaitools/bin/perl into UNIX (non-root) Installation Notes
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.2; Linux) (KHTML, like Gecko) Build Identifier: There is some unnecessary Bugzilla 2.18.x's documentation about /usr/bonsaitools/bin/perl into UNIX (non-root) Installation Notes, section "Bugzilla" (2.5.6). It's a valid information for Bugzilla 2.16.x and below users, but, for 2.18.x, it's useless (well, there's some historical reason, but that is already stated at faq.xml). Actually, the 2.18.x documentation already says that, in the very same section: "Version 2.17+ of Bugzilla now already has the scripts pointing to /usr/bin/perl". I suggest that the text about that link creation be totally removed, as it's unnecessary for Bugzilla 2.18.x and beyond. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Comment on attachment 153851 [details] [diff] [review] Removes the unnecessary text, the "of course", added a xref. >Index: installation.xml >+ directories, you will need to change the Bugzilla's scripts, setting not "the Bugzilla's", just plain Bugzilla's scripts.
