It is very inconvinient to manipulate tables and its components.
I suggest a table manipulation bar which can be turned on and of rather then a
4th level menu entry, which is hard to find and complicated to select.
Additionally moving and swapping of the content would be best dealt with a
function to move any rectangular area (at best also including merged cells).

there are several other programs which deal with this problem (xHTML design
software).
Actually most of the features are there in mozilla/thunderbird, but the user
interface really needs refurbishing...

The add column/rof functions when editing tables already hold the structure
necessary to move these blocks. However the current implementation might be
expanded by anothe pair of symbols to move these groups.
