Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Seamonkey doesn´t need a preference for this, as Seamonkey doen´t open new windows staggered ->Firefox->Preferences

it doesn't? current trunk nightly of Seamonkey suggests otherwise. This is a window manager deal, afaik.

this bug causes special annoyance on mac due to bug 130872
Blocks: 130872
New windows are opened on the Mac staggered, as per the Aqua Human Interface Guidelines. It's what a well behaved Cocoa or Mac application does.

Oh, my bad. I thought it was a mac bug (since it was linked from another bug talking about Mac stuff). Apologies.

i don't understand the purpose of the "Core Graveyard" product. i think this is still a valid bug worth addressing. do i need to move it to a different Core component?
i'll put it back to core until somebody shines the light of enlightenment on me :)
