When a user selects an alternative stylesheet for a webpage, the selection isn't
remembered upon reloading the page or visiting a different page with the same
stylesheet selections.
It only makes sense for the browser to remember the preferred stylesheet so that
users don't have to set them again each time.
I might be mistaken, but I don't believe that any major web browsers have this
feature yet. The way things are, users are discouraged from using alternative
stylesheets, and web developers are thus discouraged from creating them. Giving
users the ability to keep their selected stylesheet for a website would be a
significant step in allowing them to experience the Internet how they wish
without requiring much technical know-how, which I feel is one of major benefits
of Firefox.
