User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de-AT; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040528 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de-AT; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040528 One of my main reasons for using Mozilla with Windows was the suspected possibility to migrate all my settings from the Windows version of Mozilla to the Linux version of mozilla. This turned out to be false, and I lost a lot of email that I would have liked to keep. Now I have accumulated quite a large amount of mail again, and some invaluable contacts in my address book. There is no way that I know of to make a general backup of that data so I still have to pray that I don't get a headcrash anytime soon. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: Features I would fancy: - Ways to export and re-import: ~ emails and email folders ~ address books ~ the profile as a whole and all of that in a uniform format for all platforms. - if that is not possible maybe you could write a little script to help migrating a windows profile to linux and vice versa (should mainly be a question of adjusting some pathes)
