254307 - crash after selecting item from strange autofill list [ nsFormFillController::OnTextEntered ]

I'm not sure if this is the same as bug 243432, but I've only recently noticed
this (past week or so?). this seems to only occur after two things (1) a new
installation, and (2) clicking a link.

recipe:

1. install a firefox build into a unique folder: I've seen this with today's and
y'day's aviary1.0 branch builds (eg, 2004080408-0.9+ on linux).

2. launch firefox (I tend to see this with existing profiles).

3. click on a link in a web page.

results: in the upper-left of my desktop a chromeless window appears containing
a list of items --kind of like a displaced autofill menulist.

4. click to select one of the menulist items.

results: Firefox crashes.

talkback is being slow to load the report details, but the stack begins at 
nsFormFillController::OnTextEntered.

haven't seen this occur yet on Mac...

Adam, thanks a lot for checking. am still not having luck getting the details
(hal.mozilla.org keeps timing out). Jay, are you able to view the detailed
report mentioned in comment 0? any idea how frequently the crash occurs?

It's been happening in fairly large numbers over the past couple of releases.
I'm pretty sure this is a dup of bug 243432.
