Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: Mozilla 1.7.2 Calendar was installed by clicking the link in the calendar download page when viewed in Mozilla 1.7.2. It downloads and installs apparently without difficulty. When Mozilla is restarted for the first time only, after Calendar has been installed an error message box pops up, but Mozilla opens after the message box is closed (NOTE: Mozilla does not ask me to choose a profile). When I choose calendar from the window menu an error message box appears with the following title: Alert The error is very long, please obtain a screen shot from the following URL: http://www.digitalarena.co.uk/mozilla/calendar.gif Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mozilla 1.7.2 fresh 2. After install, browse to the Calendar download page and click the download link 3. Install the calendar 4. Close mozilla 5. Reopen mozilla 6. Click WINDOW | CALENDAR 7. Error is displayed Actual Results: When I choose calendar from the window menu an error message box appears with the following title: Alert The error is very long, please obtain a screen shot from the following URL: http://www.digitalarena.co.uk/mozilla/calendar.gif Expected Results: The Calendar program should have run (as it has done on my Debian Linux installation with no error). I have also tried to install Calendar on another PC running Windows XP but this time in Mozilla FireFox (as opposed to Mozilla 1.7.2). The same thing occurs. Which leads me to suspect that it is a Windows XP specific error, since the installation of Calendar for Debian Linux via FireFox was successful. I am about to perform the same test on an old Windows 95 Laptop, if that is successful I will let you know, otherwise assume win95 had the same issue.
