25474 - Deleting Multiple Message hangs Mozilla

Status: VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 24747

I opened a mail window and selected a block of messages via
shift-click.  I then deleted these messages and Mozilla hung.
Neither the mail window nor the browser window redrew themselves.

I ^C out of mozilla and re-entered the system and found that
the messages had been deleted.

I am running M13 Mozilla on a Gnome/Enlightment desktop using
RedHat 6.0 with the kernel updated to version 2.2.9

I attempted this operation 3 times and observed the hang each
time, so I can reproduce it locally.  If you cannot reproduce
it, call me at (724)-742-6989 and I'll be happy to cause the
problem and send you whatever diagnostic information you can
glean from my machine.

I noticed simlar behavior with the M11 and M12 releases.

Are you deleting messages from a local folder or an IMAP folder?

In email, Kevin says these are local messages. Reassign to jefft for M14.
