Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 In IE SSL Proxy will be the same as HTTP Proxy (by default). Not in forefox. You have to type the same IP address twice! Tools - Options - General - Connection Settings... - Manual proxy configuration - Type HTTP Proxy. (Since there is no same as HTTP Proxy option, I have to type the same IP address again) It's a minor issue but wasted several hours after every installation. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tools 2. Options 3. General 4. Connection Settings... 5. Manual proxy configuration 6. Type HTTP Proxy. Actual Results: I had to type SSL Proxy (same as http) again Expected Results: same as HTTP Proxy option should be enabled by default. It's a minor issue but wasted several hours after every installation of firefox.
Looks like a dupe of Bug 217664. Please resolve it if you agree. In Mozilla it works already.
