Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3

I ALWAYS go to a web site by using START+R to bring up the run dialog, then type
in the URL. With IE, it just brings up the url in a new browser window. With
firefox, it does the same, but also brings up the following dialog box (used
ctrl+C to copy the contents of dialog):

---------------------------
www.google.ca
---------------------------
Windows cannot find 'www.google.ca'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and
then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Then goes back to the run menu, and firefox is in the background with the
correct web page loaded.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Firefox and set as default browser
2.click Start->Run, then type in a url (e.g. www.google.ca) and press enter

Actual Results:
firefox will pop up, then the error message. When the error message closes, it
goes back to the run dialog with firefox in the background.

Expected Results:
The error dialog should not show up at all, and should just go directly to the
firefox browser.
