linux, redhat 6.1, mozilla build 2000012909. Askdigitalman.com doesn't display well at _all_. There is a large gray swath covering most of the text and graphics. I can see the text if I select it, though. This might have something to do with the whacky special effects I can see when viewing the page through Netscape 4.7. there are a series of small banners that scroll upwards on the left side of the page which look to be non-standard HTML. Mozilla should be able to ignore such things, right?
This page works fine on Win98 2000012812.

Actually, I see a small bug on m13 Win98 at the bottom of the page, where the footer gets overlapped. However, the page uses the ilayer and layer tag, which is not supported by Mozilla (as it is not a W3C recomendation). I think we can resolve this as invalid. Any comments?
I am certain that the grey the reporter is refreing to is being caused buy bug 20185. There is a position absolute on the page and this is causing large problems for Linux moz.
ywwg@usa.net: Does turning off graphic scrollbars fix the problem? Please report back.
Yes, turning off graphic scroll bars fixes it, as does view manager 2, which makes it.... 20185! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 20185 ***
