The reason I'm rep[orting the error here is that of all the
browsers I'm using, it only happens with Firefox. This indicates
to me that the problem is really on your end, not on the OUTLOOK
end of things.

OUTLOOK.EXE - Ordinal Not Found
"The ordinal 36 can not be found in the dynamic link library:
MAPI32.dll." - when I click on a link that calls a JavaScript
function to build up an e-mail address.

It works fine in IE, NS, and Mozilla. I'm using a Presario 700
lap top running XP, with as few updates as possible since they
seem to cause computer crashes.

2. click on any mailto: link

Actual Results:  
Error box appeard with:

Outlook does not run with the e-mail address I wanted to send a message to in it.

Expected Results:  
Open OUTLOOK.EXE or whatever e-mail program the client uses, just as IE 6, NS
6.0, and Mozilla 1.7 do.

Yes, a dupe.

Philip Karras, there is a fix from Microsoft -- the problem is actually those 
other programs, not Mozilla.  See bug 109362 comment 9 & 28.
