User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 I upgraded from 1.7.2 to 1.8a3 and added a new mail account to my existing 4 accounts. This did not show in the preferences listing nor in the mail component. When I reinstalled 1.7.2 the new account showed and worked fine. Going to 1.8a3 again made the new account disappear, but left all the others. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a mail account 2. The account does not show but is obviously there since reverting to the older edition makes it work fine. Actual Results: The account does not show in 1.8a3, but is there in 1.7.2 Expected Results: It should have created ad shown a new mail account. The version 1.8a3 is apparently not seeing the account despite having been created under than version. This would prevent users from adding an e-mail account.

Even existing mail-accounts doesn't show either. I have 4 accounts, 1 can't be seen. In Mozilla 1.7x this problem didn't exist.

I have the same here, with Mozilla 1.8a3 new accounts do not show up. :-(
