After adding a config item using about:config, and then choosing to delete this
item, it turns out this is to possible.
No "delete" option is present in the properties pane.
The "delete" key has no effect.

it's not always possible to delete a pref (it is only possible if there is no
default value). "Reset" does what you want, though; afaik. remaining issues are
bug 193332, marking dup.

In this case, the option has no default value. The steps were:
- See that no general.useragent.override item exists.
- Add a general.useragent.override item.
- Use reset to try and delete it - in this case "reset" does not delete the
item, it only sets it to blank, ie "send no user agent string at all".
