User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; fr-FR; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; fr-FR; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 Every "mailto:" links are buging when I click on it. Mozilla run in a infinite loop and open many and many Navigator windows without any possibility to close application. We must kill the mozilla process to stop this loop. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.click on any "MAILTO" link 2.try to stop mozilla 3.kill the process to terminate the exemple Actual Results: Infinite loop Expected Results: mozilla should open the Mail window
Do you click the mailto: link in the Mozilla Browser or do you use another browser? Have you installed Mozilla MailNews (you can see a menu-item under Window-Mail & Newsgroups)? Can you look up under the URL about:config what network.protocol-handler.external.mailto is set to? If it set to true, can you try setting it to false (double-click on it), does this solve the problem? If yes, this is Bug 198547
