seen on windows firefox branch build 2004-09-03-08-0.9 The text for extensions with a long description is not wrapping to the size of the extension manager window. I imagine this a side affect of removing the three icons.

Fixed on trunk by the checkin of bug 329045. The selected add-on now wraps the description and when it is not selected it is cropped.
