User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040823 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040823 Firefox/0.9.3 FEATURE REQUEST Please add a configuration option to make the Edit-Find (or "search" in behavior in general) recenter the page after every successful search. THE PROBLEM IN CURRENT SEARCH When search is started at the top of page, the found text and other lines around it can be seen. When the search falls of the page, the only thing that is visible, is the last line at the bottom of page. That's where the search stops, if matches are found. The problem is that no consequtive lines are visible. In mailing lists' theaded pages as well as in other pages, it is desirable to be able to see text before and after the found position. At current situation, the page needs to be scrolled every time to see what would would follow - to be able to determine if THIS is the location where I want to stop. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to top of page 2. Edit => Find in this page 3. Search any text that appears in page 4. The search is eventually positioned at the last line of page Actual Results: No lines that would follow are visible.
