Expected Results:  
Display page.

This page is a deeplink into a news site.
When trying to view it with IE, it attempts to install Macromedia Flash 7.

there are two flash objects on the page:

is the ticker at the top of the page, delivered as application/x-shockwave-flash

http://www.rtl.fr/swf/inc-haut_bt_player.swf
is the flashing logo at the right side, delivered as application/octet-stream

I see one broken image caused by my hosts file blocking adservers.

I tried to but so far all I get is a message "The Agent is unable to connect to
the server" (firewall issue ruled out). The incidents are queued so I'll send
them  asap.
Thomas, do you have Flash installed? I tested using Shockwave Flash 7.0 r19
Do you use extensions, adblocking or flash-blocking?
Can you try the flash URLs from comment 2, if one of them is causing the crash?

I also have Shockwave Flash 7.0 r19 installed.
None of the two flash URLs causes a crash.
But you probably have a pretty good clue as I do have "Click to play" applet
installed and do massively uses Mozilla built-in ad-blocking features.

I have some Talkbacks waiting too ;-)

Can you create a profile, just for test, without installing extensions?
Where did you get "Click to Play", from Mozdev, or from this website:

You're onto something. A blank profile displays the page just fine.
