User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 I have a directory shared under simple fire sharing in WinXP. When I download files to that folder using Firefox or Mozilla, I cannot copy the files using another computer. I get the message, "Cannot copy <file name>: Access is denied. The source file may be in use." Downloading the same file to the same folder using IE does not create this problem. Cutting (CTRL-X) the file, pasting it in another folder, then copying it back solves the problem. This bug has been replicated fo rme on two machines using Firefox 0.93 Release, Firefox 9/7/2004 build, and Mozilla 9/7/2004 build. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use firefox/mozilla to download file to shared directory on machine 1. 2. Attempt to copy file from \\machine 1\directory to machine 2. Actual Results: Dialog box appears on machine 2 stating "Cannot copy <file name>: Access is denied. The source file may be in use." Expected Results: It should allow copying of the file. The behaviour has been verified with machine 2 being either a WinME or WinXP machine.
It is a duplicate of Bug 224692. Please resolve it if you agree.
